“Unless a grain of wheat dies, it produces much fruit” - John 12:24.
It is with a profound sadness that I inform you the passing of our Deacon Brunon John Strozyk. I cannot begin to express how grateful we are to God for everything he meant to IHM and to his family. He truly was a man of God!
I would like to extend my condolences to the entire family and to each one of you who are part of the IHM family.
I am writing this message because of the circumstances that we are living in due to Covid19.
I am heartbroken as your spiritual father. It is hard to tell you that we cannot offer the opportunity to say goodbye to our deacon through a public funeral Mass. The funeral will be limited to the immediate family only.
The Strozyk family is in your prayers because I know you are a praying community.
You have been witnesses of Deacon Brunon’s faith. His relationship with the Lord always came first. He leaves a deep mark in our Church; he leaves a deep mark in my personal life. My priesthood has been better because he was our deacon.
I pray that in a near future when everything and everyone is well and recovered, we will be able to celebrate our Deacon Brunon’s life with his family and letting them know how much he is loved and always will be.
Please, stay at home- healthy and safe!
United in Christ,
Fr. Ruben Quinteros
