Teacher Bio:

Hello! My name is Amber Althoff and I am Immaculate Heart of Mary's 3rd Grade teacher. Working with 3rd grade is extremely rewarding, especially here at Immaculate Heart of Mary!

Professionally, I have over 10 years of teaching experience. I graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Education. I am certified and licensed to teach in the state of Arkansas. In addition to teaching, I've also done dyslexia therapy. I am trained in three different dyslexia programs. As an educator, I am also a lifelong learner, and I'm always seeking to improve my practice.

Personally, I have been married for 25 years to Steven Althoff. We live in the Marche Community, right around the corner from the school! Together, we have three sons, all of whom graduated from Catholic High School for Boys in Little Rock. They are currently all pursuing college degrees. I'm an avid animal lover and would love to train a therapy dog in the future.

Teaching here at Immaculate Heart of Mary is such a privilege. Educating your children is an honor, and a responsibility I do not take lightly.
