Teacher Bio:

Hello! My name is Emma Boone! I am so excited to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year! I am the 5th-8th grade ELA teacher.

I attended the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas. In 2017 I received my Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a minor in Digital Filmmaking. I grew up the daughter of two Catholic Schools Teachers and have been surrounded by the Catholic Faith my entire life. In 2019, I began my journey both in teaching and at IHM. Amid the pandemic, I found my passion for teaching and began to pursue my Masters in the Art of Teaching for 7-12 English/ Language Arts. I completed my master's program through the University of Arkansas at Monticello in August 2022.

I love to read novels, binge Netflix and read Shakespeare in my free time. My favorite things include Disney, Harry Potter, and Halloween.

I am so excited that God has carved a path for me here at IHM, and I can't wait for the 2023-2024 School year.
