JUNIOR HIGH 6TH - 8TH GRADES

Leadership

In three short years students go from 6th grade to high school. The majority of IHM students continue their high school education at Mount Saint Mary Academy and Catholic High for Boys. Others have attended St. Joseph in Conway or Maumelle High. In either case, IHM prepares students to be successful at all locations. Our alumni are among the ranks that have made perfect ACT scores, top in their class, and overall good members of  our community.

Our vision:

Immaculate Heart of Mary School’s vision is to bring inspiration and innovation to every student in the classroom.

  • We provide a holistic approach to education characterized by Catholic beliefs and values.

  • We provide academic excellence, mutual respect, self-discipline, faith formation, and build a sense of community within our students, faculty, and staff.

  • We develop leadership, active learners, and encourage thinking and technological skills to utilize student potential.

  • We provide a physical environment to enhance the overall vision of our school.-

8th Grade

At Immaculate Heart of Mary, we understand that 6th - 8th is not your typical Junior High levels, however, as part of the Diocese of Little Rock and a thorough understanding of the expectations of two of our local High Schools, we work to create an environment that builds student readiness for High School at Catholic High and Mount St. Mary's Academy.

Junior High at IHM is a time of change, growth and maturation; designed to challenge students and to broaden their perspective on our world.
