Under the direction of our Art Teacher, Ms. Lassiter our IHM students along with students across the state submitted artwork to Windgate Museum of Art at Hendrix College in Conway. The Windgate Museum of Art accepted submissions of 2D artworks in any medium that in some way depicted an eclipse, the cosmos, the solar system, or human interaction with space. The submissions were juried and a total of 80 works were selected. Our kindergartener Wesley's piece was chosen, and he was honored at the exhibits opening reception. The exhibit will be on display till May. Congratulations Wesley!
