Last Friday during his homily to the school, Father Ruben encouraged students to pray especially to the Virgin Mary as the month of May is dedicated to our Lady.
Prek 3 and 4 started the Novena to Our Lady of Fatima on Monday May 5th.
A novena is prayed 9 days before a saint's feast day and a special grace can be asked of the Saint to intercede for us.

Our IHM Choir got to tour The Cathedral at St Andrew's today and sang at the noon Mass. Thank you to the wonderful tour guide and Mr Baldwin, music director.

Last night at our Athletics Awards Ceremony Coach Cochran-Head Football Coach at Catholic High School, addressed the students and challenged them with "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work."
We are proud of our student athletes competing in football, volleyball, cross country, basketball and track and field. Go Blue Angels!

Mrs Tubbs and Fr Jaime joined over 3,500 other Catholic educators in Orlando this week at NCEA 2025. So many great things happening across the country in Catholic schools. BE THE LIGHT.
Prek 3 and 4 learned about the importance of Holy Thursday and participated in a hands on reenactment of The Last Supper and The Washing of the Feet.

Our 2nd and 3rd graders visited The Arkansas Heritage Museum and learned how to pioneer in the early days. 2nd Grade visited Hurts donuts and brought their creations to life. 3rd grade got to make slime at the Museum of Discovery---what a day of fun in downtown Little Rock!
Prek-4 learned about Saint Gemma today! Saint Gemma was a humble young woman full of love for Jesus. Oh precious Gem of Jesus, Pray for us! ♱
IHM's 12th Annual Multicultural Festival. What a beautiful night to celebrate the cultures of the world! From Mexico to India the students danced around the globe.

Our 5th graders got to spend the day at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Little Rock with over 200 other 5th graders from Central Arkansas Catholic Schools.
In light of the forecasted inclement weather, and with the safety of our students, families, and staff in mind, IHM will be dismissing at 12:30 PM today. We hope this early dismissal allows you the time and peace of mind to plan ahead for any potential severe weather.
