We turned out dramatic play center into a Native American village this month! We have been busy gathering corn, basket weaving, and beading.
PK4 had fun reenacting this great story last week! We also learned the importance of sharing what we have with others.

Fifth grade explores the circulatory system by finding their resting heart and then their active heart after running or doing jumping jacks.
After reading about acorns, PreK3 gathered acorns and planted them in a mini greenhouse. We hope to grow baby oak trees!
The third graders love working in their problem solving notebooks!

Third grade learned about thermometers today and then practiced finding the air temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius.
The PTO is going to decorate a Christmas tree for the Maumelle Library's Winter Wonderland display. Does anyone have a Christmas tree we could use? It would be in use Nov 18-Jan2.
Third graders learned that air is matter that takes up space by using the scientific method to conduct an experiment.
PK4 enjoyed counting apples on their heads today! We read Ten Apples Up On Top by Dr. Seuss and reenacted the story with photos of ourselves on the magnetic board.
Our All Saints Day party was lots of fun!! St. Peter fishing, St. Francis animal toss, St. Isidore pumpkin roll, and lots of sweets!
Kindergarten worked on labeling during writing time with a variety of gourds.

Third graders learn about other cultures by tracking our traveling class "pet". Henry the Traveling Hedgehog has been to Japan and is on his way to England.
