
It was a race to the finish! 7th graders competed on teams to complete a timeline for their class novel, The Outsiders!





6th grade practiced using microscopes and looked at onion cells today!





We had fun wrapping up our week on the gingerbread man by creating our own cookies!




In science lab, 7th grade grew yeast and viewed the yeast budding under the microscope!





In social studies, 7th grade researched and presented a U.S. state of their choice!





In their study of machines in physics lab, 8th grade built powered vehicles!





8th grade decided to take advantage of the nice weather today and have class outside!





Students are studying the properties of matter in science this week. Today, they were able to measure the length, weight and volume of rocks they each picked out!





Can Drive! Student Council officers collected many cans from IHM classrooms yesterday! Thank you, Student Council, for all your hard work! And thank you to all the IHM students and your amazing families for donating so many cans!!





2nd graders learned about Native Americans in Social Studies. We learned about different types of homes Native Americans may have lived in, including teepees and wetus.


4th graders are some hard working engineers! They built ropes out of toilet paper and tested the strength of the rope with the weight of a book!





Canned Food drive does not end until this Friday, November 19th. Please keep sending cans and/or non perishable items with your student. Who can beat the first grade? 👏👏


7th graders painted pumpkins with their mini angels! It is always sweet to see them interact!!





In 7th grade social studies, students brought food from around the world for their classmates to try!!





I am so proud of all the student council candidates!!




7th graders built a mini solar desalination plant!


6th graders used oreos to demonstrate the phases of the moon!




8th graders created a scale model of the solar system using toilet paper!! 1square = 10 million km!!
