
In the 8th grade classroom, all the upper building grades experimented by making slime. Everyone enjoyed the experience!


Loved starting our Catholic Schools Week by making origami flapping cranes. The 4th-8th graders did great!


The PreK3 chefs enjoyed making pizza, fresh squeezed lemonade and no bake cookies today. A great start to National Catholic Schools Week!

Happy 100th day of school! First grade celebrated with several activities involving the number 100. Our favorites were "What can you do in 100 seconds?" and "Where will 100 feet take you?"

Kindergarten enjoyed searching for 100 Hershey kisses hidden around the classroom. We placed them on the 100s chart as we counted each one we found.




Kindergarten is getting ready for the 100th day of school by building towers will 100 objects.




In one of our literacy stations this week, first graders are reading an issue of Scholastic News. Students then complete a journal entry focusing on writing facts and details.

Each first grader made a linking chain to practice the Lord's Prayer. They are now hanging around our classroom!

PK4 is learning about the secret world under the snow through the book, "Under and Over the Snow", by Kate Messner. Our dramatic play center is now a wintry forest where students discover the different ways animals prepare for winter.

We are watching the Inauguration today in the 8th grade classroom. The students are eager to see this day in history and how our government works.


First grade honored Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through various activities this week! We also learned how he brought hope and healing to America.

Kindergarten has been learning about the states of matter this week. Today we watched ice change from a solid to a liquid.



PreK3 is learning about nursery rhymes, everyone loves Jack and the Beanstalk the best! We are making a giant beanstalk and painted leaves to add to it.

As we explored how energy is transferred through food chains in an ecosystem, fourth grade students created a food chain cycle card and presented them to their classmates.

2nd graders are working together on a cause and effect activity.

The 8th graders just finished reading "Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde". They are now going to try writing their own short Gothic story based on the main criteria that makes up a Gothic novel.
