IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY

Why are we here? What is life all about? What happens when we die? These are some of life’s deepest questions, rooted in the human heart’s deepest desires: happiness, love, beauty, meaning. Where can we find the answers to these questions and these desires? Until satisfied, we are left questioning, longing, and searching. The Search series guides viewers through an arc of seven episodes, examining the great big story of everything—life and death, sorrow and happiness, science and faith—as astrophysicists, psychologists, astronauts, neuroscientists, professors, athletes, artists, and the beauty of the cosmos all point to one big (and perhaps surprising) conclusion: that Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church have the best and most satisfying answers to every one of the questions and desires of the human heart. Embark on the adventure, discover the purpose, and begin The Search.

Painting with Fr. Manny Come and paint your masterpiece with the help of Fr. Manny. Wine, Cheese, and supplies are provided. $18.00 per person and $30.00 per couple.

CYM and All are invited to help clean the graves at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery. A cookout and games will follow after the cleaning.

Calling all Volunteers!!! We can use your help at Vacation Bible School!

Come off-road through the colorful canyons and sunbaked trails of the southwest for a Monumental adventure!  By exploring God’s awesomeness, kids will form a rock-solid faith for the road ahead! Children will experience fun, age-appropriate, high-energy stations during their time at VBS including Bible Adventures, Imagination Station, Games,  Snacks, and KidVid Cinema. Children from K through 6th grade are invited to join us from June 27th-July 1st. The registration deadline is June 17. Volunteers are needed! Donations are welcome. The IHM Knights of Columbus will be hosting the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Picnic on Saturday, 5/21 after 5 pm Mass. There will be food and fellowship. Come out and have a great time! We hope to see you there!

Ash Wednesday Mass Times-2022

The Church of God is convoked in Synod. "Journeying Together" With this convocation, Pope Francis invites the whole Church to question itself on synodality: a decisive theme for the life and mission of the Church. Every session of the Second Vatican Council began with the prayer Adsumus Sancte Spiritus, the first word of the Latin original meaning, “We stand before You, Holy Spirit,” which has been historically used at Councils, Synods and other Church gatherings for hundreds of years, being attributed to Saint Isidore of Seville (c. 560 - 4 April 636). As we are called to embrace this synodal path of the Synod 2021-2023, this prayer invites the Holy Spirit to operate within us so that we may be a community and a people of grace. For the Synod 2021-2023, we propose to use this simplified version, so that any group or liturgical assembly can pray more easily. We stand before You, Holy Spirit, as we gather together in Your name. With You alone to guide us, make Yourself at home in our hearts; Teach us the way we must go and how we are to pursue it. We are weak and sinful; do not let us promote disorder. Do not let ignorance lead us down the wrong path nor partiality influence our actions. Let us find in You our unity so that we may journey together to eternal life and not stray from the way of truth and what is right. All this we ask of You, who are at work in every place and time, in the communion of the Father and the Son, forever and ever. Amen.
