First grade has enjoyed learning about sound in science. Students made predictions of the items in each egg based on the sound it made. First graders make great scientists!


PreK3 had an awesome time at the pumpkin patch this week. Everyone selected a wonderful pumpkin.

PreK3 is working hard on improving cutting skills.

Third graders are learning about saints during October. These students are working on a miniature Church of San Damiano and Saint Francis of Assisi!

PK4 had a fabulous field trip to Bo Brook Farm!

2nd grade has been learning about simple machines during science. Today we explored pulleys. Students were given the materials and had to decide how to put them together to make a pulley.




First grade is learning how to read diagraphs! Students worked together to complete diagraph puzzles by looking at the pictures and putting the word together.




PK4 made story retelling bracelets for Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? last week. They used the bracelets to help them with story sequencing during centers.

Third graders learned about heat energy with M&M candies. They learned that their bodies are a source of heat by melting chocolate in their hands.

We had such a wonderful day celebrating Johnny Appleseed's birthday Monday. We learned who he really was and how he helped bring apples to several states.

2nd Grade had to search the classroom for their math word problems and then solve them! This allows them to practice their math and get up and move.


2nd grade has had so much fun learning the writing process during writing boot camp!!


PK4 read the story of Great Grandfather Abraham last week. The reference to the stars had us learning Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in sign language. We also made constellations with play dough.

Way to go Kindergarten for placing first in Karnawal raffle ticket sales. We finished with 1050 with the top three sales in our class!!

Third grade started their study of multiplication this week. Today they played math games to review multiplication strategies.


Fourth graders make observation of a green onion sample using a microscope in an attempt to discover what living things are made of.

5th Grade Babysitters Club!
As 5th graders see how much work and care they must have for an egg, they can imagine how much they should care for the grace God has given to them, because their soul has much more value than an egg.
