
2nd grade has sent Flat Stanley on adventures all over the world. We received lots of pictures and notes about his travels. We are tracking where he has been on our map.



7th grade has been studying plants. Friday we set up our photosynthesis lab. Today we began our seed germination lab

6th grade is working on understanding Mesopotamian trading culture by conducting an experiment involving record keeping in cuneiform on clay tablets.


The 8th graders are beginning to look at historical connections to their novel "To Kill a Mockingbird" to help them better understand the racial tension that Harper Lee writes about.

The 7th graders are discussing the importance of unusual friendships after seeing the friendship of Ponyboy and Cherry in "The Outsiders" by S.E. Hinton.

Kindergarten had such a wonderful time at BoBrook Farm last week. We got to jump into a corn pit, walk through a maze, slide down a big slide, and picked pumpkins out.

First grade has loved learning about fire safety this week!



Come visit the Book Fair. Oct. 24-28. We will be open each day starting at 7:30 and immediately after school until 4:30.

2nd grade really enjoyed our visit with the Fire department learning fire safety!

First grade had a great time at BoBrook Farms on our field trip. The students loved exploring the different activities and picking out a pumpkin!




We started our pioneer unit in Social Studies by baking our own corn bread.


2nd grade is working on How to carve a pumpkin writings. To prepare for this writing, we carved our own class pumpkin.


Fourth grade students set criteria and classify seeds accordingly as part of their study of organisms.

Third grade started our study of Pioneers by making our own corn bread today!

First grade loves fall! Students created a writing based on fall colors and then made a fall wreath. They were definitely getting creative!
