
PK4 is studying types of weather. We predicted, tested, and recorded which objects wind can move. We read about different types of clouds. Students are now giving their own weather forecasts in our dramatic play center.

Kindergarten has been reading the 3 Little Pigs this week. Today, we did a project called The 3 little pigs and the big, bad blowdryer. Kindergarten and 3rd worked together to plan and build houses, and the wolf (blowdryer) tried to blow them down.

The 7th graders are beginning "The Giver" and we discussed the importance of memories and how important it is to remember the good and the bad.

Third graders are working on a money unit this week. They are counting money and adding money while having fun!

We ended Read Across America reading with our Guardian Angels.


Prek-3 and fifth grade students worked together on a STEM project inspired by Dr. Seuss's book 10 apples on top. The record for our 3 foot towers was only 4 apples on top!

First grade had a great week celebrating Dr. Seuss!


PK4 read Dr. Seuss' Green Eggs and Ham this week. Students were able to decide for themselves if green eggs and ham are really as great as Sam I Am says!

Read Across America Week was a great success! Students practiced reading fluency, learned about alliteration, completed science activities, and researched places around the world!
